Detox Juice Diet Recipe I Made Today

I got out my lovely juicer today and made some wonderful juice. Since I wanted to lose a little weight I had just this juice for breakfast and lunch.

For dinner I had a big green salad.

For the juice I used a cucumber, those are fun and make a lot of juice. The flavor is not overpowering and is fresh.

Then I used a bunch of carrots. Carrots are always good and have a lot of very healthy vitamins.

After the carrots I added a whole head of celery.

to finish it up I added some apples. The pectin in apples is very good for your digestion and also, this is the big plus, pectin makes you not as hungry. I love that.

This is really easy for a diet because you aren't hungry. It is super low calorie and has lots of vitamins.

Sweet Potato and Corn Detox Soup Recipe

Sweet Potato and Corn Detox Soup Recipe

This recipe will be good for 3-5 servings. It is substantial
enough to work as a complete meal, which is kind of the idea.

What you will need to have on hand:

1 tablespoon olive oil
1 onion,I like red onions for the color and mildness, finely diced
2 garlic cloves, crushed up
7 ½ cups of vegetable stock
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 medium sweet potato diced
1 lb corn kernels (fresh or frozen)
A pinch of Sea salt
Lime wedges to serve with the soup.

Here is how you do this:

Heat the oil in a large soup pan and gently fry the onion
on medium/low heat until soft (5 to 7 minutes). Then Add the
crushed garlic and gently fry for another 2 minutes.
Now add 1/14 cups of the vegetable stock to the pan.
Bring it to a boil, reduce heat then simmer for 10 minutes.
Add the cumin and diced sweet potato and simmer a further 10 minutes.
Now and add the corn and remaining stock. Simmer another
10 minutes or so.

Remove soup from heat and let cool slightly. Put half
of the soup to a blender or food processor and blend until
smooth. Stir the smooth soup into the pan and mix together
with the chunky remaining soup and gently stir together.
Serve warm with lime wedges on the side.

The great thing about good detox recipes is you can become healthier
and lose weight while still enjoying delicious food.

Carrot and Apple Juice Detox

Carrot-Apple Juice

Get 2-3 Apples, whichever kind you like. (if you are lazy you can use unfiltered apple juice but it won't be quite as good.)

Then 1 carrot

Fresh basil leaves, the basil really makes it taste good.

Wash (preferably with filtered or distilled water), cut them and then put in juicer.

I usually add some ice cubes so it is nice and cold.

Lemon Detox

Lemon detox is an easy detox plan. Make it part of your healthy life everyday.

Get a bottle of lemon juice and keep it in the fridge. A nice quart size.
Pour some in every glass of water. It is good to make healthy detox diet foods a part of your every day life.

There are some more extreme versions of lemon detox diets I will discuss later.

Moderation will keep you healthy. Can you imagine killing yourself to be healthier? This has happened.
